It technically is not desirable for us that players in the secondary game are incapacitated, as this prevents them from retiring and removing themselves from the primary phalla. OTOH, if we get the money from it, it would enable us as individuals to retire? I don't know if we get the money the Alliance Cruiser collects, though.
Anyway, I vote no.

I vote yes, though I gotta say, it seems odd that to win this, we actually want the villagers to do well and retire. Seems to me if they are successful in doing that, we failed our job in catching those brown coat SOB's. I for one won't feel satisfied if any of those traitors gets to live a life of luxury.

What is the "speed" of retiring? Does it happen instantly during the day, or sometime during the Order of Operations for nightly activities?

Can a captain deliver one of his crew to the Alliance in exchange for the bounty, or does the bounty have to be won in a boarding?

Can a captain deliver one of his crew to the Alliance in exchange for the bounty, or does the bounty have to be won in a boarding? A captain can turn in one of his crew, but he still has to capture them in a Showdown.
